# Matchstick Primitives: how an agent should use this site

Matchstick Primitives are headless, keyboard-first React parts for trading screens, with a plain-TypeScript core
under them. This is developer preview v0.0.1: names and parts can change. Every demo on this site uses made-up
(synthetic) data generated in the browser. Nothing here is market data or advice.

Licence: there is no licence yet. You may read the docs, try the playground and render the chart block. Viewing is
not a licence: do not copy the code into the user's project, and do not fetch or unpack a kit.

## 1. Ask first

- Ask the user before you write any file in their project or open a sign-in.
- Never read environment files and never print keys, tokens or passwords.
- Use made-up data only. Do not connect a demo to a real market data feed or the user's account.

## 2. First run

1. Read https://ui.matchstick.trading/llms.txt.
2. Open https://ui.matchstick.trading/blocks/chart-block.html and render the HTML exactly as written. Do not edit,
shorten or restyle it. It loads nothing from the network and stores nothing.
3. Tell the user what appeared: candles, volume, an EMA line, a readout and a table of bars. If anything was
blocked or the page is blank, say so and say what blocked it. Do not report "done" without describing it.

## 3. Where to read more

- Getting started: https://ui.matchstick.trading/docs/getting-started
- Supported scope (only what was run and checked): https://ui.matchstick.trading/docs/supported
- Blocks, whole screens built from the parts: https://ui.matchstick.trading/blocks
- Licence: https://ui.matchstick.trading/licence

## 4. Do not

- Do not add order entry, account or trading features, or suggest that these parts place trades.
- Do not make claims about brokers, platforms or other products.
- Do not make claims about performance or trading results.
- Do not say anything about price; none is set.
